DESCRIPTION:We’re happy to report that the recent Annual Meeting held in Chicago exceeded all expectations! We were pleased to welcome members and guests to our Sunday cocktail reception on August 2\, 2024. The next day\, on August 3\, we held our Board Meeting and Annual Meeting of Members and then proceeded to watch a Cubbies game at the iconic Wrigley Field. Our meeting concluded with the ACA Scholarship Dinner August 5\, 2024 at the Chicago Club to award the Cohn-Dorsett scholarship and honor our outstanding recipient\, Lindsey Hernandez of Quinnipiac University School of Law. We also had an impromptu sock contest and fabulous views of the Chicago skyline from the terrace. Many thanks and much appreciation to outgoing President Joy Phillips for an unbelievable year and looking forward to another great year with incoming President Andrew Schpak at the helm. Next up….Phoenix! Midyear meeting is Jan 30-Feb 4\, 2025\, and then rolling in to Toronto with the Krewe Aug 7-12\, 2025. Get ready! And bring those loud socks! \n\nThis success is a testament to the dedication\, support and involvement of the ACA members. A shout-out also goes to our sponsors for the event. DESCRIPTION:Another successful American Counsel Association (ACA) Annual Meeting was held in Denver August 4-7\, 2023. The Annual Meeting and the upcoming Mid-Year meeting in Louisville\, KY February 2-5\, 2024 foster friendships and build strong social support networks\, both personally and professionally. \n  \nThe Annual Meeting was well-attended and we saw many new faces. Everyone enjoyed the President’s Reception held at Denver Milk Market on August 4. A lively Board meeting was held on August 5 at the law offices of Clark Hill. The Board meeting was followed by an outing to the very interesting Meow Wolf Exhibit and then a fun lunch at The Original Brooklyn’s. \n  \nA highlight of the Annual Meeting was the awarding of scholarships to two fantastic law school recipients\, Mersadie Murray and Abigail Leigh\, during the Scholarship Dinner held at the University Club of Denver on August 7. \n  \nA big shout-out to the Sponsors of this year’s meeting! It would not have been such a huge success without their generous contributions.
