Andrew M. Schpak, a former president of the American Counsel Association, has been elected Treasure-Elect of the American Bar Association (ABA) for the 2025–2026 term and will go on to serve as Treasurer from 2026 to 2029. He is the co-managing partner at Barran Liebman LLP in Portland, Oregon, where he focuses on employment litigation and advising organizations on complex workplace matters. Schpak has been deeply involved with the ABA for many years, serving on key committees including the Board of Governors, the Finance Committee, and the Standing Committee on Audit. In addition to his ABA leadership, he has held prominent roles such as president of the Multnomah Bar Association and leader of the ABA Young Lawyers Division. His professional accomplishments have been recognized through honors like listings in Chambers & Partners USA and Super Lawyers. Schpak’s election as Treasurer-Elect reflects his sustained commitment to advancing the legal profession and supporting the ABA’s financial stewardship.
